Principles of Manual Handling (RQF) Level 2.

The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling (QCF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, designed to cover the basic principles of manual handling. This theory based qualification is ideal for all employees as it provides candidates with an awareness of safe manual handling practices and the risks of unsafe manual handling. With subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to reduce the risk of workplace manual handling injuries, whilst minimising disruption to your organisation’s day to day activities!

Safe Moving and Handling (RQF) Level 2.

It is the perfect course for those working in a variety of environments including warehouses and shops. Successful candidates will learn the key principles of manual handling and how to apply these to their workplace. They will also practise a wide range of techniques, ensuring that they leave the course confident and proficient in moving and handling.

Risk Assessment training

The course will consist of half a day theory covering: Accidents and contributing factors, Regulatory requirements, Hazard and Risk, Five Steps to Risk Assessment, Types of Risk Assessment, Practical Risk Assessments The other half day will consist of practicing carrying out Risk assessments and a written assessment.
